KALE Chips

KALE Chips
 
Serves: 6
 
Ingredients:
 
* 1 bunch of kale, (leaves should be removed from the stem then torn into bite size pieces) washed and dried very well.
* 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
* Dash of salt
 
Directions:
 
1. Preheat oven to 375.
 
2. After the kale has been washed and dried thoroughly, drizzle the olive oil over the greens. Use your fingers to toss the greens so oil distributes evenly.
 
3. Spray a large baking dish with non stick cooking spray and spread the kale evenly onto the baking dish, making sure not to crowd the kale too much (which can leave to uneven cooking.) 
 
4. Bake the kale for 10 or until crispy and do not stick to the baking dish. Be careful not to overcook.
 
Note: You might require an additional baking dish depending on the amount of kale leaves in your bunch. 
 
Nutritional Content: Per serving (1/6 of batch): 42 calories, 3 g fat, 5 g carbohydrate, 1g fiber, 1 g protein, 45 mg sodium.
